First 4DX Theatres Open in Norway with Nordisk Film Kino and France with Les Cinemas Gaumont Pathe

(March 21, 2017) - CJ 4DPLEX, the company behind 4DX - the world’s first and leading 4D cinema technology for feature films, opened their first theatres in Norway and France this month recording a strong performance for the debut title - KONG: SKULL ISLAND, released in cinemas March 10th by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures.
The first 4DX in Norway opened in partnership with Nordisk Film Kino at the exhibitor’s Ringen location in Oslo on March 10th and recorded an average occupancy rate of 97.6% during its opening weekend. In France, the first 4DX theatre opened with Les Cinemas Gaumont Pathe ? the number one chain operator in France, Netherlands and Switzerland ? at the exhibitor’s Pathe La Villette multiplex in Paris on March 15th.
